User Reply enables you to ask an open question to a user and save it as a variable.

You can use this: 

  • To customize the user experience : add {{variables}} in your chatbot answers.
  • To ask for personal information, which you can then send to a CRM or API 
  • To gather open answers or a simple message that you'd like to send by email.

This feature works great with email notifications and API connectors.

Here is an example of how it works:

  • Create a recipe with an open question. Ex: What is your email?
  • Add a user reply setting to this recipe. Ex: Variable: email, Type: email, Error: That's not an email, User redirection: Thank you
